Call me crazy, but . . .
Isn't the girl a very young Donna Mills? I've seen the guys who play her husband and the guy in the store before and can't remember their names, but I'm almost positive the hot little housewife is our very own Donna.
As for the commercial itself, it's awful. It's incredibly condescending--especially when she complains to the guy in the store, "I've been married a year and a half and I STILL can't make a good cup of coffee", like that's the worst problem her marriage could possibly have--but that's pretty much what things were like in the early '60s (this commercial looks to have been madein maybe 1963 or 1964).

The grocery store is on fire.
In my opinion they should have stopped filming this commerical and called the fire department.
The cardboard Folgers sign in the store is smoking and on fire.
Who filmed this commercial anyways?
We could have all been burned up.

Beware of the Lech!
Jeanie is a beautiful woman who can't make a decent cup of coffee. The neighborhood lech informs Jeanine to use Folger's coffe, as he is mentally undressing the young woman. After dinner that evening, her husband (who is a closet cross dresser) likes the new brew. Jeanie later runs off with a biker for a life of debauchery, mild drug abuse and touring with the Grateful Dead!

"Thanks For The Flowers!"
Jeanie (with an amazing 60's hairdo) and her husband's anniversary is just RUINED when she can't make good coffee. "I hoped it would be better today!" she says, eyebrows fluttering. the next day, she runs to her marriage counselor, Mr Mcgregor at the grocery store, who says all can be solved by buying New Folgers Crystals from the display that's smoking! Nice display. Probably clogged up the air quality.
